Course Description

This program is for individuals who are seeking to gain more knowledge as an amphibian and invertebrate pet owner. These skills will also give you experience and confidence when working in an environment which holds animals, such as Rescue Centres, Pet Shops, Zoos, and Charities.

Attendees do not require any qualifications - just a keen interest in animals.

You must be 16 years old and above.

Please wear appropriate footwear: Preferably nonslip, closed-toe shoes and waterproof/ water-resistant clothing.

This program does not provide a formal qualification. A certificate of attendance will be given when the program is finished.

Maximum of 8 people.

What content the program will cover: Feeding, handling and accommodation for amphibians and invertebrates. This program will be mainly practical based.
