Transportation of livestock by road - short journey

The short journey is over 65km and up to 8 hours travelling. This is an online/multiple choice assessment which is undertaken at the college.  This is an assessment only, we do not provide training but provide self-tuition material’.

The fee is £90.00 per species and the species are as follows:

Cattle

Sheep

Cattle and sheep (this is classed as on species for those who transport both)

Horses

Game birds

Pigs

Poultry

Goats

1. Transportation of livestock (short journey) for journeys over 65km and under 8 hours in duration (on line test)

Entry requirements - candidates taking the Certificate of Competence must be a minimum of 16 years of age, there is no upper age limit

Assessment is in the form of an online multiple choice EVOLVE based test
